Description

This is a really beautiful signed bracelet by Zoltan White & Co, of British Arts and Crafts design with a nod to the Austro Hungarian influence of White’s early years in Budapest. A very attractive piece and it is much more difficult to find Zoltan White bracelets, as we usually see brooches or rings instead. Super to have such a statement and important piece.

The stones used are an inspired choice and look wonderful together…the gold streak running boldly through the huge lapis stone at the centre and the 12 (one for each month of the year!!) rather delicate pale peach coral cabochons. All stones in lovely condition too.

The links in the bracelet, two on either side of the main panel, are in the shape of bows, being dotted at the centre by a coral cab…..easily the prettiest links I have seen on a Zoltan White bracelet. The original push in fastener is stamped by the firm ” Z.W. & Co”. The bracelet is also stamped on the verso of the main panel with “STERLING” “Z.W.& Co” and “MADE IN ENGLAND”. The verso is so intricately worked – it’s a joy. The bow-shaped links have a smooth, fine silver finish, which indicates again that this is one of the finer Zoltan White examples.

The bracelet is a good length and is designed to be worn loose on the wrist, however, if you prefer a more snug fit, you could have a jeweller remove a panel easily. It currently measures approx 18cm (approx 7 inches). Please check measurements carefully-it is a loose style. In lovely condition!
