Description
An absolutely sensational, original c1930s Italian Art Deco antique cuff bangle in fine materials, bearing the makers’ mark and full Italian stamps for Florence, Italy on both ends of the bangle. It is such a beautiful thing and so indicative of the Art Deco sensibilities, indeed, it seems to have that sun burst design with the strong rays being picked out in 18ct gold.
A very rare thing, to find one stamped in Florence is pretty much a dream. The maker is Lisandro CINI, as it bears his company registered number of 102 and the Florence silver mark of Fl. It also bears the “750” stamp in two places for 18ct gold, as well as the “925” stamp for sterling silver. It is a strong and solid bangle, which has been beautifully hand-worked in this fine textured design in the silver, which really makes the smooth gold sections radiate even more.
A bright green faceted tourmaline sits as the sun, at the centre of the design. No dings or compromise to the sleek shape of this wide cuff bangle. In pleasing condition with natural wear in line with her age.. There are little marks from her life so far (I have tried to zoom in on the last photo to show you) so she is not a new and perfect piece. However, they are light and there are no dings or distortions to the silver structure. It is approx 5.8cm measured across on the inside. It is adjustable of course but fits my wrist (17cm) without having to move in size at all. It measures approx 2.4cm wide.
I will send in a new gift box to protect her well. Complimentary Tracked and Signed post is included.
