Description
What a lovely antique double row of diamonds ring, most likely created in the late 1920s / c1930 Art Deco era. Some people like to call these double half eternity rings. A simple, elegant and eye-catching design, as it gives a much wider band of stones than you would usually get with a simple eternity. With its two rows of 7 diamonds, it has 14 diamonds in total. They are well-matched, old-cut stones recessed in their settings so that the ring should not snag your clothes.
The white metal the diamonds are mounted in, I presume is platinum and that helps the whiteness of the look of the ring. Lots of sparkle too. In between each group of 2 diamonds, there is a flower design in the white metal, which looks so lovely under the loupe. It really helps to isolate each grouping of stones within the setting. A well-balanced and elegant ring that is in excellent condition and freshly cleaned. It is stamped with the old English mark “18 CT” on the inside of the band. The band is a thick and sturdy band.
