Description
A lovely Victorian brooch of Scottish origins, showing a display of gems set in beautiful “nipped”, fluted settings. The oval faceted lemon citrines are set at the Cardinal points on the rectangular elements in the design. There is a pointed star burst effect in silver in between each of the cardinal points. A red cabochon garnet is set at the heart of the design and that has a fluted “nipped” setting also.
The silver on the main design is etched in design . That is mounted to a hollow, circular silver frame so the cut-out element on the whole brooch is attractive too.
In good condition with no damage to the stones. Original pin (possibly base metal) and simple C clasp. The diameter of the brooch is approx 4cm.
I will send by Royal Mail’s international service or else Special Delivery within the UK-thank you. Box in images is for display purposes only but I will pack in another box for safe passage.
