Description

This Georgian gem from the 1800s is in such a lovely form, of a flower set with some of the most lively pinky red flat-cut garnets I have come across. Such a light and wonderfully organic design, of quality. It has been so loved by its previous custodian that they have had it fitted with a solid gold hinge, clasp and pin. It has clearly been done by a proficient jeweller. She is a gem of a find!

The light that is bounced around from these stones in movement is just fabulous- they are foiled for that extra special wow factor. It could be worn horizontally or vertically as a brooch and even as a pendant (I will attach a photo) if you just wrap a chain around the pin. Sumptuous stones meets sumptuous design. It sings love, both in the use of a flower and in the use of red stones. She is in good condition. The teeniest stone right at the bottom could be a replacement, as it seems to be a touch darker, however, it has been well-done. Light wear to the stones for her age and she is ready to gift or else to wear. It look so beautiful when worn.

She measures approx 4cm by 2.5cm. Foiled flat-cut garnets set in silver with solid gold fittings to the verso. I will send in a new gift box by Special Delivery within the UK or else by International  Tracked and Signed. The box in the images is not included. Thank you.
