A beautiful antique Edwardian pendant crafted in 9ct rose gold throughout and stamped “9CT” with the old English Edwardian hallmark. It is of a good size and has its original matching rose gold bale.
The three claw-set, faceted amethyst stones are a lovely rich purple tone in colour, and the pairing of the stones with the rose gold of the metal adds an extra layer of warmth to the piece. The rose gold is much more subtle than the usually found yellow gold of this antique pieces. The three original gold drops are suspended at the bottom of the plaque and it really is a beautiful example of these antique lavalier pendants.
In excellent order, stamped as gold and all stones beautifully preserved and with such sparkle too. The pendant is ready to pop onto one of your own chains, as the listing is for the pendant only. Thank you.
