An impressive statement ring crafted in sterling silver and set with a beautiful “glowing” carnelian cabochon. An Arts and Crafts ring difficult to date but I am assuming mid century. It is a substantial piece with a heavy frame.
A lovely natural inclusion in the carnelian and that orange glow that draws us near to carnelian stones like this.
A bezel-set stone and intricate detailing engraved at each shoulder. It also has a wide band so is a robust piece. It measures as approx UK size M (approx US size 6). The carnelian alone measures approx 1.7cm by 1.4cm. In excellent condition with some age-related patina you could simply polish away if you prefer your silver super shiny.
