Description

A sweet Georgian era mourning ring set in gold, which tests as a minimum of 15ct. Crafted in the 1800s, I love that this example has a rose floral design set at each shoulder. It enhances the decoration on the whole ring. A sealed panel with a crystal cover has been used to on the central section for the woven hair. There are natural seed pearls running all around the rectangular central panel. I love the greys and purples that you also get with the tones of natural pearls.

Nice proportions and not an incredibly tiny band size, as you often find with Georgian rings- this one measures as approx UK size M.5 (approx US 6.5). The face of the ring sits low to the finger so that it is very comfortable to wear. No marks (as is typical of this early era) but does test as minimum of 15ct gold.

I shall send by express courier internationally or else by special delivery within the UK. I will include a new ring box as the boxes in the images are display items and not for sale.
