A beautifully executed Amy Sandheim of London c1920s Arts and Crafts brooch with the most delicious open-backed blue chalcedony stones set in sterling silver. The detailing on the vine leaves is beautiful and the tiny bunches of grapes are so delicate. All crafted by hand and like all of her fabulous creations, it is beautifully unique.
I adore these long brooches by Sandheim, which make quite the statement when worn. This brooch is a beautiful design, in excellent condition with some patina from its years since creation so you could polish away if preferred. For me, I think it enhances the lovely detailing on the leaves even further.
The brooch retains its original pin and C clasp and measures approx 8.5cm in length.
I shall post by special delivery within the UK or else by international express courier. I will package in a new gift box to keep her safe. Thank you.
