Description
A lovely, hand-crafted English antique Arts and Crafts pendant, with original antique double chains and many hand-wrought details. The central circular plaque features a central blister pearl in a hand-crafted rub over setting. It is a very pretty pendant, on the large side so it makes a statement when you wear it.
The silver coils and balls decorations are at the cardinal points of the circle and I love the organic nature of each, different to both the next and the last. The silver sections behind these coil arrangements does have some patina and I have left it, as I think it enhances the look of the piece. however, if you prefer, you could easily polish away. The two chains are original, and they lead up to a hand-made loop, and a large, flattened hand-made bale. I have used a fine silver chain with the pendant and that is included in the sale.
The drop of the pendant from the top of the bale is approx 10cm and the wearable length of the chain is approx 46cm (18 inches). It is in pleasing condition, both the silver work and the blister pearl. Some patina so would polish further if preferred.
