Description

A beautiful example of an early 1910s English ring crafted in 18ct yellow gold and set with five graduated old-cut diamonds. They are largeish stones and have a bright sparkle. I love how the graduation is subtle with three larger stones flanked by a smaller on each end. It gives such a lovely line of diamonds on the finger and is wonderfully eye-catching. The ring has a current valuation certificate by a member of the UK’s National Association of Jewellers, valuing it at £1,800.00.

The band is crafted in 18ct yellow gold, with the stones being set in platinum. These wonderfully bright old mine cut diamonds are claw set. Each of the larger stones are appro 0.10ct and the end stones are a tad smaller at 0.05ct giving a minimum of 0.40ct weight of diamonds in total. They are in sparkly condition as the ring has just been professionally cleaned. The old English “18ct” stamp is visible on the inside of the ring, as well as a partial maker’s mark.

UK size N (US approx 6.75).
