Antique “Easter egg” bracelet in 9ct gold with jade, chrysoprase and rock crystal

Shades of green against the 9ct gold-lovely design, c Edwardian era

1 in stock

I have always loved these Victorian / Edwardian so-called Easter egg designs. The way you have two halves of a gemstone separated by a slice of faceted rock crystal, I’ve just always found so appealing. This bracelet is a wonderfully wearable size and not so clunky, making it ideal as a daytime piece too. The mix of greens is fabulous, with the more yellowy green coming from the nephrite jade and the more bluey green from the stained agate (chrysoprase).

The jade eggs are slightly larger than the agates and they measure approx 1cm each in length. The links and fittings are all crafted in 9ct gold and the catch (might be a replacement?) is also stamped “9CT”. All the stones have been tested and they are all in excellent condition with no damage. The bracelet measures approx 18.5cm (approx 7.5 inches) in length.

The greens against the gold looks fabulous and it is just such a timeless and very wearable bracelet.  I shall send by complimentary Special Delivery within the UK or else by International Tracked and Signed. Boxes in the images are not included. Thank you.
