A lovely, very realistically designed massive dragonfly brooch that looks ready to lift off from your hand. So much lovely detailing in the wings in particular-it is a gorgeous thing. It is weighty, approx 21.7g which means it is suitable to be worn with a sweater or jacket …some substantial fabric that will support it. Otherwise you could opt to wrap a chain around the pin and use as a statement pendant.
It has the original pin and the original simple C clasp. Stamped “STERLING SILVER” on one wing and “SILVER” on the other, it is most likely from the c1930 era.
It will “fly” to you in a new gift box, rather than any boxes in the images as they aren’t large enough! I will send by Tracked and Signed – thank you.
