A gorgeous bracelet created c1930, which is one of the most lovely designs I have seen. Arts and Crafts leaves and clusters of berries are represented on each of these 6 panels, executed in open work silver detailing. The fabulous white /grey /blue domed moonstones are fit into their own bezel settings with a typical A&C ropework detail at the foot of these settings.
Each of the square panels is stamped as STERLING on the verso. All of the moonstones are clean and undamaged and there are beautifully hand-crafted rectangular links connecting each panel to the next. In pleasing condition, it has obviously been fitted with a new clasp at some point. As you can see from the images- she is a beautiful thing. Each square panel measures approx 2.5cm including the little squareish links on each side….just under 2cm the other way.
The bracelet measures approx 19cm (7.5 inches). The catch can be a little fiddly to put on yourself (there is definitely a knack) however, do try it and it is a very quick fix for a jeweller to change the style of, if you prefer another type.
