Description
A beautiful antique bangle with the diamond pastes remaining being bright and twinkly. Crafted in the late Victorian era, this is a lovely example of its type, with those intricate engraved designs on either side of the stones’ section (sterling silver). I also love the central cultured pearl rather than it being a straight line of diamond pastes. It just looks a little more special because of this.
The pastes resemble old-cut diamonds and as mentioned, are still sparkly and twinkly. The bracelet retains its original safety chain too, so you can be assured when wearing her that you have that extra safety feature. The hinge and clasp both work well. The only thing to note is a small ding on the underside of the silver at the back, however, it is small and is at the back of the bracelet.
A lovely design from the Victorian era with a nod to the coming belle Epoque sensibilities with its use of diamond pastes and pearl. Inside bangle measurement is approx 17cm.
