I always feel so delighted to find a quality vintage platinum and diamond ring with amethyst-purple being my favourite colour. I think the gem works beautifully with diamonds and platinum, enhancing, as they do, the richness of the purple stone. This wonderful Art Deco design is striking and pure in its form, with the vibrancy of the rich purple against the brilliance and sparkle of the diamonds. All set in the lovely whiteness of platinum.
A pleasing design with the royal “Cadbury” purple being well-saturated in the whole emerald-cut amethyst. The setting also features a fine mille grain detailing. To each side are set three sparkling, brilliant-cut diamonds, each set in their own square setting, also mille grained. They are also arranged to give a notion of that typical stepped feature associated with Art Deco design.
