Attractive antique Edwardian bracelet, England

Description

A fabulous Edwardian era bracelet, crafted in high carat gold (panels test as 18ct) with attractive scrolled links and alternating mother of pearl cabochons and step-cut amethysts. I love the square step-cut amethysts, as it is rather unusual to find them in an antique piece like this. Much more typical are the round faceted amethysts. The buttery yellow of the gold and the ornate panels make this such a beautiful bracelet.

There are seven open work panels in all, with 4 mother of pearls bezel set and three square amethysts, also bezel set. All stones are in pleasing condition. There are parallel gold chains running right through the design and these are brought together at each end of the bracelet by a single link. There has been a catch replacement over the years. It does have a little extra length compared to the usually very tiny Edwardian pieces , as it measures a touch under 20cm (approx 7.75 inches). The width of the bracelet is approx 1.1cm and it weighs 6.4g.

A neat and comfortable bracelet to wear too, so it is a gorgeous thing all round.

I will send her in a beautiful padded bracelet box by Special Delivery within the UK or else by international express courier to global destinations. Thank you.
