What a tremendously attractive jewel, which is really a finest quality piece. It carries full UK hallmarks and it is clear to see she was created in London (looks possibly like a 1972 stamp)- there is also a small maker’s mark next to the assay marks. A piece with strong heritage and which really is a wonderfully naturalistic piece, adding a new dimension to the flower bouquet brooches you usually see in brooches. This is a much more organic design, being plucked directly from nature, as it represents a living branch with flowers and leaves, all studded with round cut diamonds. It shimmers so much as the diamonds cover all surfaces of leaves and flowers. Such a beautiful thing and perfect for the Spring.
There is a round-cut deep blue sapphire at the centre of each of the three flowers and they sparkle highly too. I love the natural, sinuous curve of the branch, and that is also reflected in the shape of the pin, so that it sits behind the brooch rather more unobtrusively than it would have done if not curved a little.
Crafted in 18ct buttery yellow gold, this is such a delightful find. It feels heavy and squat in your hand, and that is a measure of the amount of stones; each of the leaves have 2, 3 or else 4 diamonds decorating them and each flower petal has 3 diamonds. It is indeed an opulent and attractive piece of jewellery. The photos do not do her justice.
Excellent quality and makes a potent statement when worn-a gorgeous brooch with rollover safety catch with every single fitting being crafted in the same 18ct gold, down to clasp, hinge and pin. It measures approx 5.1cm in length. Fully stamped for maker, London and as 18ct gold. All stones are present and correct and the brooch is in wonderful condition. Ready to gift or else to wear. I will send in a new gift box as the boxes in the images are for display only-thank you. Complimentary Special Delivery is included as is express courier internationally.
