Description
A lovely c1900 stick pin, crafted in hand in silver and set with three cabochons of mother-of-pearl. The cabochons are nestling in their own rub over settings. The arched structure of the top of the pin is in a design often used in A&C pieces. I have seen it used in a number of Mary Thew pieces too, and with the stones’ settings looking very Thewesque, along with the placement of tiny silver balls in strategic places in the design too. Difficult to attribute for certain though.
It is a very pretty stickpin and would make a lovely addition to anyone’s A&C or stick pin collection. Crafted by hand in silver, it has a strong, steel pin by the looks of it and the piece is in pleasing condition. Some patina which could be polished away if you prefer. The decorated section measures approx 3cm by 2.3cm. The total length of the stick pin is approx 8.9cm.
I will post by Special Delivery within the UK or else by International Tracked and Signed. Box in images is not included.
