Description

This is an elegant and beautiful British Arts and Crafts pendant necklace, dating from c1910. It is firmly attributed to the designer Charles Horner. The honeycomb section in the centre of the main part of the pendant has been noted on a brooch by Charles Horner and it is the same silver work here, once again with a bezel set MOP in the centre of the design.

This is a fabulous variation on a similar Horner necklace I am currently selling, in that it is slightly larger and also decorated with narcissi flowers all around the outer halo. It is such a rare and wonderful floral design.

The wearable length of the chain is approx 49.5cm long (approx 19.5 inches).
The pendant drop is approx 4.3cm, including the bale. The diameter of the circular section is approx 4cm. There has been a clasp replacement at some point in her past to a bolt ring clasp.
In excellent condition. Some patina you may wish to leave / clean.

Please note the box is for display purposes only but the necklace will be securely boxed in another box for safe passage. Complimentary tracked and signed postage is included. Thank you.
