Description
A fabulously, large and striking piece of modernism design c1960s-1970s, which I believe is of German origin. It is stamped “800” and there is a maker’s mark which looks like the letters WL stacked on top of each other within a triangle. This could be a studio piece as the design is so very original. The listing is for the pendant only and does not include the chain.
This large rectangular form pendant is heavy. It has a solid, integral bale (stamped with the markings mentioned above on the reverse) and it features two solid silver bar drops, bisected with a horizontal bar of silver. The drops have two cuboids of pyrite with its dark grey, shimmering gold qualities. There are individual cuboids of natural form, which seem to be leaking out of the main stones….just remarkable. Better than I can capture with the photography.
Pyrites are naturally grounding and protective stones-absorbing and drawing away negative energy from the wearer. This is a large and striking piece with the pendant measuring approx 5.6cm in height (including bale) and approx 3.5cm wide.
I will package in a new gift box for you and send by tracked post. Boxes in the images are for display only-thank you.
