Description
This is a lovely piece of Arts and Crafts jewellery, c1900 made for retail at Liberty & Co of London, and most likely from the workshop of William Hair Haseler. It features a lovely round blister pearl at its heart and it retains the instantly recognisable and typical, original Liberty triangular-shaped bale.
I love the design of this larger Haseler pendant…it is fine, understated but absolutely eye catching nevertheless, especially due to the delicate intertwining of the silver in the openwork foliate and scroll detailing. The blister pearl has that lovely creamy lustre you would wish for, enabling you to see white, grey and purple as you move the pendant around. I also love that this pendant is a little larger than some of the other Haseler pieces. The fact it is oval in shape also means it is a rarer piece, as most were round.
The pendant measures approx 4.4cm in height, including the bale. The chain in a few of the images is not included- it is a listing for the pendant only. It is in lovely condition, as you can see.
I will package carefully and post with Special Delivery or else International Tracked and Signed. The box in the images is not included but I will package in a new gift box. Thank you!
