A lovely, string of white baroque pearls retailed at Mappin & Webb, which come with the original silk lidded box. Stamped with the maker’s mark (by Royal Appointment to the Queen), these boxes also have value.
This string of pearls are fairly slimline, giving the necklace a more delicate appearance, rather than the chunkiness that a pearl necklace can sometimes have. They have a stamped 9ct clasp but also, making them even more unusual, they have a small gold pendant detail, of two elongated leaves with a large pearl drop. Just beautiful.
If you have ever desired to possess a string of pearls, then these could be just the perfect thing; in original box, gold fittings, an excellent retailer and finally, a rather special detail which seems to elevate the necklace even further.
In excellent condition, measuring approx 42 cm (16.5 inches) in length. The pendant feature is approx 2cm in height.
I will of course include the box for you.
