One of my all-time favourite rings and quite a rarity to find, especially in platinum. Also most unusual is the fact this could be a “patriotic” ring for some countries, having the red, white and blue visible at the same time. Usually on these rings this is not possible, however, as this ring has the complete band of diamonds in the centre you are able to put the red, white and blue all together. You hardly ever find this as you usually have to choose either the red or the blue. This is a lovely jewel indeed.
This is also a slightly larger size than you usually find with these platinum rings, which is so useful as because of the design, they are not resizeable obviously. This one is a UK size P (US 7.5).
Created in the Art Deco, late 1920s, era and named a Night and Day ring as the ring flips to give you the choice of how to wear it. It is not just two rings you get in one here but many more, as you can wear a single line of stones, a double line or else three lines. I hope you can see on some of the photos that there is much sparkle to the ring-it has just been cleaned so is sparkling and ready to wear or else to gift.
The width of the ring is approx 8mm wide, so as you can see in the images, it makes a wonderful statement on the finger. It is such a comfortable ring to wear too, as it sits low to the finger and does not catch on clothing etc. Just a beautiful thing all round.
Unmarked (as is typical for this design) but it has been tested as platinum and all stones tested too. In pleasing condition, with very little wear to the stones. The ring is not able to resized as the stones are continuous around the design. It measures as a UK P (US size 7.5).
