Description
A rare stamped 18ct gold Harem Princess ring dating from the c1930-1940 era. This type of jewellery has really made a resurgence in popularity over recent years and it is easy to see why-it makes a big impact with the teardrop gemstones and other smaller stones dotted around the designs. In this ring we have such a gorgeous assortment of natural gem stones including emeralds, rubies, sapphires, moonstones, pink tourmalines, spinels and tiger’s eye. It is a lovely example of its type and to find one in 18ct gold is rather more rare.
I love that a clear, sparkly stone has been used for all of the highlights on the ring -they test as spinel so they have all the lightness and sparkle you would expect from spinel. It is fabulous to have such an array of gems; the teardrop gems are cut en cabochon and set in gold too. The smaller stones are set in silver….it suits the clarity of the stones well.
This beautiful statement ring is in excellent condition with no damage to the stones. It measures as approx UK size K (US 5.25). Stamped “18K” on the inside of the band.
I shall send the ring in a new gift box (not the box in the images) and by complimentary special delivery within the UK or by international tracked and signed. Thank you.
