A really fabulous so-called “Cleopatra” fringe necklace in 9ct gold, which is fully UK hallmarked for 1975. It makes a striking statement when worn, as there is a complete halo of gold unlike some necklaces which have the design on the front section only. A glittering, golden statement framing your face- lovely. The necklace (as you can see in some of the images) is so flexible and moves easily, thus allowing it to be oh so comfortable when worn.
The beautiful links which hang from the necklace are textured in part, with the bottom part being fluted. They remind me of people for some reason 🙂 It is in excellent condition, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1975 and even has a tiny maker’s mark next to it. It measures approx 39cm (15.25 inches) in length, with the decorative section being approx 1.4cm wide.
