A Sibyl Dunlop pendant from the later years, which has been retained in its original Sibyl Dunlop pendant box. It is crafted with a large, sparkling faceted citrine at its centre, which has a very fine millegrain setting- beautiful. The openwork framework in silver, depicts a typical Arts and Crafts design of scrolling tendrils and vine leaves, with a tiny silver berry at the cardinal points and on the matching bale.
It is a lovely sized pendant at approx 4.3cm in height. Both the silver work and the citrine are in good order, with some patina on the reverse. I shall send to you in the Dunlop box she lives in. I have also used a modern silver chain just so she doesn’t move around the box too much-I am happy to send that for you, even though you may well wish to pop on your own A&C chain, once you receive her. No signature on this, but this is often the way with openwork pieces as you are so limited with where you can stamp the piece. I have other pieces of the parure and some of those are stamped with both “SD” and “S DUNLOP”.
