Description
A substantial vintage sterling silver chain, very much with an Arts and Crafts flavour. It is a combination of flattened, Modernism-styled paperclip links, alongside groupings of circular, twisted silver links. Stamped in various places as sterling silver and with a maker’s mark “D.S.&S.”.
This could be a very useful chain if you are looking for a strong, characterful chain to pair with a pendant that has a largeish bale. It measures as approx 79cm (31 inches) in length so it would be a useful chain as you can also wrap it around your neck twice for a more choker-style effect.
