Description

A lovely length of Victorian c1880s solid silver book chain has been converted in its past to this bracelet. it is a generous fitting but could be altered by just removing the large bolt ring clasp that was fitted historically.

A really pretty design with a cylindrical, ribbed piece of silver being sandwiched between a silver ball on either end. You have to love these Victorian book chains as they make such a beautiful statement. This bracelet has a solid silver dog clip fastener too, with several stamps. It looks European and I believe it looks like “935” quality silver, a higher silver content than sterling.

It measures approx 22.5cm in length, although as said, you could fasten somewhere other than the large bolt ring. In fact, you may even just decide to remove it altogether. A good looking Victorian book chain bracelet. I will send in a new gift box as the boxes in the images are for display only. Complimentary tracked and signed is included. Thank you.
