Description
A lovely c1930-1940 moonstone necklace which has a part riviere design and a lovely additional round moonstone drop to the central stone, adding that little touch of differentness.
There are 16 moonstones in all and there is slight graduation in size from the two largest moonstones in the centre to the smaller at the end of the row on each side.
Each mounded moonstone has been individually set in its own neat arrangement of four claws. The extra stone as the central drop adds an extra touch of movement too, which is lovely. They are mainly pale blue stones, with the added flash of darker blue adularescence here and there.
The central drop measures approx 1.8cm and the wearable length of the chain is approx 49cm (19.25 inches).
