Description

Truly a beautiful piece of 1940s design and a fine example of her type- this superb bracelet carries marks for Vienna, along with the stamps “585” for 14ct gold. There is also a maker’s mark of what looks like “K.F.” She has been superbly crafted and is in excellent condition. What a magnificent bracelet!

The design is sumptuous; with the large links being crafted in yellow gold, three parallel bars (Art Deco in nature) running vertically in the centre and with a crimped surfacing on the two outer, horizontal sides of the form. This means that even more light is bounced around as you move the bracelet. The rounded barrel-shaped connectors in the bracelet are crafted in rose gold. They also have the parallel horizontal bars, so indicative of the 1930s/1940 era. The mix of yellow gold with rose gold is beautiful, as you can see.

The bracelet is in all original condition, clearly having been very well cared for over the years. She fastens with a tongue and box clasp and there is even the original over-the-top gold safety clasp for added security when wearing this beautiful bracelet. She feels silky and sinuous to the touch and is incredibly comfortable to wear. Approx 1.7cm wide and approx 19.5cm in length, which is a touch over 7.5 inches. Weight 19g.

I will send her in a beautiful padded bracelet box by Special Delivery within the UK or else by international express courier to global destinations. Thank you.
