Description
A sweet antique Edwardian necklace, stamped as 9ct gold and set with aquamarines and pearls. The design is very lovely, with an aquamarine set at the top of the chain, a double knife-edge drop link in gold and completed by a circular plaque set with a flower shape in aquamarine and seed pearls.
I love the circular settings and circular main plaque, especially with those long knife-edge links that suspend the main plaque. In excellent order an with an integral gold trace chain. Aquamarines have been tested as such. The pendant is stamped with the old English antique mark of “9CT”.
The height of the pendant is approx 4.6cm and the wearable length of the chain is approx 40cm (15.75 inches) in length. In excellent order, and has had a replacement catch over the years.
