Description
A delicate and petite c1890 Victorian stamped 9ct pendant, which comes with this fine, gold chain.
I quite often see these desirable pendants named “Starburst” pendants and they are fairly typical of Victorian jewellery.
The lovely petite pendant has six tiny flowers on stalks which emanate from the central flower. Each tiny flower head is dotted with a seed pearl. It resembles a snowflake in style too.
The six petalled central flower has a tiny seed pearl dotted on every leaf and then a larger pearl studded at the centre. The central pearl is a replacement which has been carried out by excellent jewellers in Hatton Garden , London.
The pendant is stamped on the reverse with a fairly worn “9CT” stamp. The chain is not stamped but tests as 9ct gold. The pendant is approx 2.4cm in height and the chain is approx 43cm (just under 17 inches) in length.
Please note any boxes are for display purposes only and the necklace will be securely boxed in another box for safe passage.
