A super sparkly and pleasing faceted rock crystal pendant drop a la Sandheim, c1930. A lovely chunk of rock crystal which is robust and sturdy-beautifully cut to reflect as much light as it can. It sparkles and shines.
The typical Sandheim leaves and berries which adorn the top of the drop on both sides are matched by the matching cluster of three berries on the split bale. All what you would expect in a lovely piece by Sandheim. I love the design of this pendant and actually, the chunkiness of this rounded triangular form.
The pendant measures approx 5.4cm from the top of the bale to the base of the drop. The widest point measures a touch over 3cm. I will send with the chain in the images, which is also hand crafted and is a series of knotted links. I haven’t seen that design before but it does match the pendant well. The chain measures approx 46cm (18 inches). One teeniest tiny nibble to a corner on the back as I inspected with the loupe but for a piece of this age it is in remarkably good condition with no other nibbles.
