A lovely long 800 silver Jugendstil chain and slider, dating from the c1900-1910 era. It has small stamps near the dog clip for the “800” silver (used in most pieces in Germany at that time) and also has a tiny maker’s mark stamped next to it.
It has a beautiful, striking Jugendstil slider, in an immediately recognisable Jugendstil design with flowers. It is set with three tiny red pastes. You could wear this long chain several ways so I a sure she will be a useful addition. Personally I love it doubled with both the dog clip and the slider visible at the side/front so that you can admire those details.
The slider measures as approx 1.4cm in height and the chain measures as approx 77cm (30.5 inches) but remember that the chain is doubled so in effect it is actually twice that! In excellent order, retaining some patina from the years of its history.
I shall send by tracked and signed in a new gift box. Thank you.
