A scintillating, structurally beautiful necklace by the hugely sought-after master silversmith Anton Michelsen of Denmark, which features a most attractive organic and stylised leaves design. Beautifully constructed and amazingly pretty when you wear it, this heavy, choker necklace is fully signed for Anton Michelsen and also for the year 1959.
I hope you can see from the pictures, how attractive this design by Michelsen is-for me, it is perhaps the prettiest articulated jewellery he made. I am also selling the matching bracelet, earrings and brooch separately so if you are interested in making a set, please drop me a line.
A heavy, substantial piece, which feels great against the skin-the necklace is marked “MIC” with the Swedish import marks etc and the year “1959”. I couldn’t help myself and actually wore this to dinner a couple of times- it is a show stopper of a thing, so, of course, there were many compliments.
In excellent condition, I believe it has been very well cared for during its lifetime. The necklace is approx 37.5 cm (a tiny touch under 15 inches) in length.
A GORGEOUS necklace by a master designer and silversmith who is extremely sought after! This will not disappoint-she is beautiful in every respect. Please note the final image shows the necklace (included in this listing) along with the other pieces in the parure (which are not included in the listing). A little patina remains on the reverse.
