Description
An antique Art Deco c1930 full eternity ring / engagement ring with diamonds and sapphires. This design is one of the most beautiful combinations with the round, bright, transitional cut diamonds being claw set and the baguette cut sapphires being channel set. I love, love, love how there are groupings of three diamonds and then three sapphires so that you get that pretty effect all the way around the ring. The stones catch the light beautifully when the ring is worn.
Such a useful and significant type of ring, as these eternity rings can be gifted and worn as a love token, alongside a wedding ring or else can be used as part of a stacking arrangement. Significant that there are 12 of each stone-reinforcing the idea of constant love, ie, 12 months a year. A lovely “hidden” symbol.
It is in pleasing condition, with the merest nibble from the edge of one sapphire visible under intense scrutiny with a jeweller’s loupe. This is of course not visible with the naked eye. As said-it is in pleasing condition for its age. Please note that it is the diamond and sapphire ring worn at the top of the three rings in the photos, where I have demonstrated a stacking arrangement. The antique all diamond Art Deco ring is also for sale separately.
The width of the ring is approx 3mm. The ring measures as approx UK size M (US 6.25). As it is a full eternity ring with stones running all the way around, it can not be resized. The sides of the band are plain, not engraved.
I shall send in a new gift box by complimentary international express courier or else by special delivery within the UK. Box in the images is for display only, thank you.
