A really lovely vintage / antique (most likely Art Deco era) gold and aventurine beads necklace. The “beads” are rather beautifully polished and faceted and each is a large size. It feels fabulous to hold and to wear!
The catch and attached gold parts are clearly stamped as 14 carat gold. Each of the 23 stones have been obviously selected for their detailing, with the typical aventurine flecks being present in each and also with some of the stones showing sparkles of mica, elevating the overall aventurescence on those pieces. I really cannot explain how wonderful each stone feels -like cool silk, a very special stone to wear I find. Connected to the heart Chakra -aventurine is considered one of the luckiest gemstones, as well as being able to calm negative emotions allowing your energetic level to soar once more. Luck, calmness and success. One of my favourite stones for sure.
A neat and well-proportioned necklace which sits well just below your throat and so, is a good choice to wear with shirts for example, as the necklace is visible without getting lost under clothing.
