A beautiful combination of stones, featuring two of my favourites, aquamarines and Ceylon moonstones, both bringing fabulous blue hues to this Arts and Crafts brooch designed by Bernard Instone. Flower bouquet brooches were popular during the early decades of the twentieth century and this is a wonderful example.
Lots of adularescence in the Ceylon blue moonstones, with that delicious blue shimmer whenever the brooch is moved, even slightly. Along with the gorgeous aquamarines, if you love blue, then this is the brooch for you. So very sweet with those long, elegant hand-tooled leaves in silver and the amazing fluted settings which set it apart from others too. It is a graceful piece to wear on your lapel.
In excellent order with a rollover safety catch, the brooch measures approx 6cm by 3cm.
