A lovely design, surely by one of the Birmingham School jewellers, which dates to the c1900 era. A wonderful piece in excellent condition, including its original chain, the main section of the pendant has a lovely arched structure, which is covered in flowers and leaves, the flowers being hugely reminiscent of the Gaskins’ designs. The small, flecked silver leaves are typical Birmingham School too.

The three turquoise cabochons are set in their own five-petalled silver flowers. Rather unusually the settings for both the large central blister pearl, as well as on the blister pearl drop, have a sort of pinched / scalloped effect. The design is just beautiful and as the pendant section measures approx 5cm in height by approx 3.6cm wide, it makes a large enough statement. I love to flip it over to see the lovely silver wire work on the reverse…I have seen this work before -I just can’t put the name of the maker to it at the moment.

The chain measures approx 48cm (18.5 inches) and it has its original torpedo-shaped barrel fastener too. A sweet floral design, which makes a striking piece!

Please note that the boxes in the images are not included but I will include a new gift box. I am also not sending to Germany at the minute. Thank you.
