Description
A sweet German c1900 necklace with foliate and rose detailing. It is stamped “935” to the verso, which indicates a higher quality silver than sterling. It is a light and more petite necklace so would be an easy “everyday” piece to wear.
The pendulous drop shows a beautifully-cut amazonite stone, in its own scalloped setting. Above it, detailed leaves are set out to the top of that section. It is suspended from a large 3D rose feature, flanked on either side by an amazonite bead. An intricate, expended silver figure of eight link lies next and when you look carefully at it, you see that it too, is decorated with leaves and a bark design. Next on the chain on each side is another amazonite bead.
In excellent condition-the catch has been replaced at some point. Stones all faultless too. The drop section measures approx 4.2cm and the wearable length of the chain is approx 41cm (16 inches).
