An elegant and ethereal design with halos of details, c1910 Charles Horner, England

Description

This is an elegant and beautiful British Arts and Crafts pendant, dating from c1910. It is firmly attributed to the designer Charles Horner. The honeycomb section in the centre of the main part of the pendant has been noted on a brooch by Charles Horner and it is the same silver work here, once again with a bezel set MOP in the centre of the design.

It is such a pretty design, with the twisted rope work detailing set as a halo to the honeycomb section. There are 5 tiny pasts set around that section of the halo too. It is an ethereal and light design because of the open work. There is a large triangular-shaped bale which would accommodate a thicker chain if you prefer. However, I am happy to include this later sterling silver chain for you.

The wearable length of the chain is approx 45.5cm long (approx 18 inches).
The pendant drop is approx 4.3cm, including the bale. The diameter of the circular section is approx 3.5cm.
All stones present and correct. In excellent condition. Some patina you may wish to leave / clean.

Please note the box is for display purposes only but the necklace will be securely boxed in another box for safe passage. Complimentary tracked and signed postage is included. Thank you.
