Description

A lovely example of an Edwardian round pendant, with foliate design and stones, from the c1910 era. Executed in quality materials, this particularly fine example is in stamped 9ct gold and has two beautifully cut pale stones, which could be either aquamarines or else topaz. Real they are, however.  The listing is for the pendant only.

You do mainly find these types of pendants are small in size and rather thin in construction, however, this is a stand-out example in a large size with exceptional stones. I love that there is the typically Edwardian “9C” stamp on a small plaque on the verso, on the outer rim of the pendant.

It has a large bale, which would accommodate a much larger chain than the one used for demonstration purposes in the photos. The quality of the pendant is much higher than you usually find, hence, this would be a particularly lovely example if you were looking for such a piece. It measures approx 5cm from the top of the bale to the bottom of the drop.

In excellent condition. I will send in a new gift box.
