NOW RESERVED for L – thank you!

This is an extravagantly oppulent antique Edwardian piece c1910, which is a stunning example of both the riviere style of necklaces, as well as of fringe necklaces. It is such a rare thing-having been hand crafted and all 42 blueish moonstones, having been set individually by hand. Sumptuous and glorious!

I love that the moonstones are set along the chain, almost to the clasp, in riviere style. It draws your eye so beautifully from those stones around your neck to those larger, graduated stones at the front of the necklace, suspended by double sets of links from the stones above. They graduate in size from the largest in the centre to the smallest of the other 6 stones both to the right and to the left of the central moonstone. That central moonstone measures approx 1.4cm in height.

The necklace retains its beautiful, original box clasp. It is in all original condition and all stones are undamaged. A complete triumph!
If you were to dream of moonstones dripping from your neck…this necklace provides the illusion so well. I also love the double sets of links connecting each stone to the next-it adds that extra luxurious, curated touch to an already glorious necklace.

The necklace measures approx 44cm (17.25inches) so is such a lovely and useful length. The fringe section of the necklace (with suspended stones) is approx 17cm in width.

Please note that the box in the images is for display only but I shall provide a gift box for her to be safe in.
