Description

How rare and how lovely – an authentic high quality c1910s Edwardian diamonds and pearls tassel necklace still nestling in her original silk and velvet Goldsmiths & Silversmiths box from Regent Street in London. They sold only the finest jewellery creations and also had the Royal Warrant, providing pieces for the British Royal family.

This is such a beautiful example of a tassel necklace, being crafted throughout in 18ct white gold and featuring a spherically faceted citrine, adding that tiny suggestion of colour to this diamond and pearl beauty.

Rose-cut diamonds are studded in the white gold mounts both above and below the citrine sphere. The bale is decorated on both sides with a brilliant-cut diamond. The fine trace chain is 18ct white gold. The tassel is created from 20 strands of threaded natural seed pearls, with that lovely cream lustre you would hope to find on a well-preserved piece of antique jewellery. A truly beautiful piece of jewellery, understated in size, as per the Edwardian sensibilities, and yet, packed with fine touches reflecting that every part has been considered in the whole design.
The height of the pendant is approx 6cm and the wearable length of the necklace is approx 43cm (17 inches).

I will send by Express International Tracked and Signed delivery or else Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK. It will be sent in her original antique, fitted box. Thank you.
