A fabulous c1900 Liberty & Co Arts and Crafts pendant, designed by Jessie Marion King (The Glasgow Girls) in a documented design but with a moonstone and pale green to bronze ombre enamel combination I have not come across before. A very adularescent moonstone has been set among the leaves. It retains its typical hand-crafted Liberty & Co silver bale. The listing is for the pendant only.
I adore this pendant, as it packs such a bold design punch, with it vari-coloured enamelling to the leaves, most of which is pale sea green but there are tiny touches to the edges in a bronze shade. The colours really work well with the beautiful, central blue moonstone.
It measures approx 3.3cm in height, including the bale. Enamel is in pleasing condition, as you can see. It retains some patina so would polish further if that is what you prefer.
