Description
A very pretty, beautifully naturalistic dragonfly from sought-after designer Norman Grant from the 1970s. It carries the “NG” stamp, along with hallmarks for Edinburgh assay office.
The wings are dotted with enamel which run from a light blue near the body to a peachy / yellowy as it goes to the tip of each wing. It measures approx 4.7cm from wing tip to wing tip and approx 3.6cm in height. A light, wearable piece which would wear with just about any fabric. In very good condition – just some patina, especially on the reverse, which you may prefer to polish away.
