Description
A wonderfully substantial half eternity band, crafted in platinum and with a lovely, wide band, at the back as well as at the front. Most unusually, it features both round brilliant-cut diamonds as well as baguette-cut diamonds. The baguette stones are set vertically and separate each round brilliant cut stone in the design. It is a very beautiful design, which feels so comfortable to wear.
There are six round-cut diamonds and 7 baguette-cut diamonds. The stones are all recessed in the long channel, which also means this lovely ring will not snag your clothing. It has a lot of sparkle too, with the platinum enhancing the whiteness and vivacity of the diamonds. I love that the diamonds section covers the front and sides of your finger, with the back being plain platinum. It is fully hallmarked with London hallmarks for “950” platinum. It is also stamped on the inside of the band with the total diamond weight of “1.00CT”. I cannot determine the age of the ring as there is no date mark apparent. Fairly modern hallmarks would lead me to think she was created in the last 30 years, although the design is reminiscent of an Art Deco design. A classic!
This lovely thing measures as approx UK size L.5 (US size 6). She is a beautifully graceful design with two types of cut diamonds and a wide, comfortable band. The width of the ring is approx 4mm. The ring weighs approx 6.6g so has an element of gravitas about it.
